LA-ABOTA Wins 2025 Large Chapter of the Year!

Dear Los Angeles Chapter Members,
The Los Angeles chapter won the Large Chapter of the Year award at the National conference in Banff, Canada. It was an amazing weekend of lectures, important national board business and, of course, socializing with friends and the awards Gala.
We had a great turnout from the Los Angeles chapter. Our 2024 president Jim Rosen led the way to the stage to accept the award along with our own legendary past president, Donna Melby, and our 2025 National trial lawyer of the year, John Sweeney. Past presidents Jake Courtney, Bob Morgenstern and Chris Faenza were there with us, as well as executive board members Dana Fox, Alice Chen Smith, Lourdes De Armas, Christa Haggai Ramey - with her husband John Ramey - and Brien Breiter. Also joining us in the fun and celebration were ABOTA members Mark and Wendy Kramer, Kent Brandmeyer, El Mahdi Young and Vivian Rivera.
A special thanks to Deborah Chang and her team who prepared chapter videos for all the chapter finalists which were played at the Gala to a roaring applause.
If you have not had the opportunity to attend a National Board meeting, we highly suggest you come join the fun and education. You do not need to be a board member to attend. The next National conference and Board meeting is in Austin Texas, beginning October 1, 2025, at the Four Seasons hotel. This event will be during the Austin Music Festival, so it will be an amazing time. If you're more adventurous, there is an ABOTA experience October 9, 2025, in Buenos Aires!
